Hemehra Sajid
Senior Manager
I’m Hemehra, and I’m a Senior Manager of the Risk Assurance and Advisory Team (RAA) with a commitment to deliver a high standard of services to our clients. The team and I make sure that #teambeevers’ auditors are happy, appropriately skilled and continue to grow as we do.
I work exclusively with not-for-profit organisations. Whether it is technical expertise or simple advice, I am happy to help in any way I can with support from many experts across the firm.

My story
I joined the team in March 2020 as a Senior Auditor, becoming a Manager by October 2021. I manage several clients primarily focussing on the social housing sector.
Prior to joining the firm, I worked as an Accounts Assistant at a local firm selling musical instruments. My admiration for the not-for-profit sector came from this job as we worked closely with primary schools, secondary schools, and army band members to help make access to musical instruments easier.
Whilst the nature of the work we do is slightly different, I recognise the importance of understanding the challenges and issues our clients face and my experience from connecting with patients from the pharmacy, volunteering for local soup kitchens, and variety of local women’s wellbeing initiatives helps me do just that as I get to engage from the ground upwards.
I do this too…
I am an avid power lifter and love to spend time hiking and being close to nature whenever I possibly can. At home, my time is spent trying out different recipes (hence the avid power lifting!) or DIYing – I aim to have an annual project (of course biting off more than I can chew! – yes, another food reference) and love to see it to the finishing line.
I also love giving back to my community, I volunteer at local soup kitchens and wellbeing initiatives and help patients (old or young) feel safe, well and heard.
