I’m Shelim and I’m a Partner in the SME team helping small and medium managed businesses achieve their ambitions whatever stage they may be at; from advising start-ups on the most suitable legal and tax structures to ongoing accounting, tax compliance to ensure profitability and growth for multi-million-pound turnover companies.

I have a very keen interest in the application of technology to enhance both our service delivery and our client experience. We have a comprehensive app-stack and advise clients on the most useful apps to help them streamline their business processes, saving time and money.

I head up our Contractors team which provides a comprehensive accounting and tax compliance and planning service affording clients peace of mind in terms of filing deadlines and being tax efficient.

My story
I was a trainee at an international audit firm and qualified as a chartered accountant in 2003. Having spent the early years of my career as an auditor I followed my passion and transitioned into SME advisory where I get to enjoy working with a huge variety of businesses, many of them family businesses, each with their unique attributes and challenges. I love that every day is different.

I joined the firm as an assistant manager in 2004 and became a partner in 2008.

I enjoy travelling, dining out, buying techy gadgets and carting the kids around, as instructed!
